Long ago, Fulton’s Lake Neatahwanta had a sand beach and public swimming. Now, a large sign warns people not to swim in the water and the beach has overgrown with grass.
Tonight, a new effort begins to try to reclaim some public use from the lake.

Sheriff’s deputies have charged a Parish resident with allegedly making methamphetamine. At 12:07 a.m. today (May 1), Jonathan B. Rabb, 35, of 1392 County Route 26, Parish, was arrested at his residence for third-degree unlawful manufacture of methamphetamine, a class D felony.
