Sheriff’s deputies have charged a Parish resident with allegedly making methamphetamine. At 12:07 a.m. today (May 1), Jonathan B. Rabb, 35, of 1392 County Route 26, Parish, was arrested at his residence for third-degree unlawful manufacture of methamphetamine, a class D felony.

Shortly after noon on April 18, with the sun near its peak for the day, electricians from Solar Liberty Energy Systems of Buffalo, threw a small switch in the back corner of a mechanical room at the Oswego County Health Complex in Oswego. Power harnessed from the sun then began to off-set the county’s electrical needs in that building.
UPDATE: Missing person, Cassandra “Sandy” Phillips, was located this morning (May 1) by a passing motorist, who stopped to assist Ms. Phillips after she was observed walking along CR 28, cold and wet from the rain. Members of the Oswego County Sheriff’s Office are attempting to locate 36-year-old Cassandra “Sandy” Phillips of Canastota.
Deputies with the Oswego County Sheriff’ s Office responded to investigate a traffrîc collision reported to the Oswego County 911 Center at 5:24 this afternoon (April 29). One driver was hospitalized.
Approximately 500 people, young and old (including one who traveled 3,000 miles to get here), turned out Saturday for the annual Oswego County Autism Taskforce’s “Walk for Autism.” The group seeks to provide information that enhances the lives of those touched by Autism Spectrum Disorders in the community. The event featured children’s activities, entertainment, light refreshments, autism information and an organized walk.
The New York State Police in Fulton apprehended a wanted fugitive from Onondaga County following a vehicle pursuit late tonight (April 27). Troopers attempted to stop a Pontiac Grand Am on County Route 12 in the town of Schroeppel at approximately 10 p.m. for a suspended registration.
