UPDATED On 04/15/2012 members of the Oswego County Sheriff’s Office responded to an armed robbery complaint at the FasTrac gas station located at 234 State Route 264 in the Town of Schroeppel. As a result of the investigation, two males were arrested on multiple charges.

At approximately 5 p.m. Thursday, sheriff’s detectives and Cicero police responded to a robbery reported at the Fulton Savings Bank, located at 5501 Bartel Road. At approximately 11:40 p.m., a suspect was located in the parking lot of the Carousal Mall and was taken in to custody with out incident.
In March of 2010, the Oswego County Legislature approved a resolution opposing the development of a wind farm in the shallow waters of Lake Ontario near the Oswego County shoreline. New efforts are under way that could bring the matter back to the forefront in the county.
