At this week’s meeting, the Common Council, with little fanfare, approved a zone change for property located in the Second Ward at 81 E. Fourth St. from an R-3 Residential District to a B-2 Central Business District. They also sowed the seeds for a community garden project.

For returning and new food vendors, your application deadline is April 5. For facebook followers of Harborfest, a new “chat session” will be opened up on Friday’s from noon to 1 p.m. starting on Friday March 23.

The Common Council voted 4-3 Monday night to allow a zone change for 134 and 140 E. 13th St., from R-3 Residential to B-1 Neighborhood Business. Two weeks ago, the council voted 4-3 against the change. The difference this week was a change of heart by the Fifth Ward councilor.
Due to the mild weather, the City of Fulton is lifting the all-night parking ban on city streets and parking lots effective immediately. The ban would typically have ended on April 1.
