At first glance, the $1.2 million increase in aid to Fulton schools in Governor Cuomo’s proposed budget looks like good news. A deeper look shows it’s probably not going to help the district avoid even more staff and program cuts.
“We’re still in a real rough spot,” said Superintendent of Schools Bill Lynch.

Recently, a group of graduate students at SUNY Oswego conducted a survey regarding morale in the as part of their class work. There isn’t a morale problem in the Oswego City School District. However, Superintendent Bill Crist admits, “I think morale could be better.” District officials will now consider the recommendations made in the survey as they continue to discuss the issue.
