An important part of Fulton history will be celebrated this weekend when collectors of guns made in a famous Fulton factory come to town to talk about, look at, and fire their antique weapons.
Hunter Arms Homecoming Weekend features a display of L. C. Smith guns, which were made in the Fulton factory, and a shooting competition for those whose guns still work.
At this week’s meeting, councilors approved use of public space. And, they also give several city employees permission to travel to training seminars.
Today: Spirit Week is almost here! Homecoming is just around the corner and all next week will be filled with showing some Bodley pride. Also, Spikers ace Grimes and enough with the fire drills already.
Showers will clear out this morning. But will likely be followed by a new round of stormy weather later today.
UPDATED with Harborfest’s press release Oswego Harborfest is looking for a new executive director. The board terminated Tom Van Schaack at its last meeting. He said he was informed that the board was looking to take the festival in a new direction and “reenergize” the festival with the 25th edition of Harborfest coming up next year.
Anja Mayer, whom many people may remember as the foreign exchange student from Switzerland last year, has yet to lose her Raider Pride.
In fact, she proudly displays her copy of The Raider student newspaper on a recent trip to the Alps.
