Old Man Winter is still sputtering. According to Fulton’s weather observer, 1.0 inch of snow fell on March 12 with another 0.3-inch on the 13th. Total snowfall for March now stands at 5.0 inches. Oswego received just a trace of snow on March 13. The monthly total stands at 4.0 inches and the winter season to 176.5 inches.

Assemblyman Will Barclay presented a pair of local heroes with NYS Assembly Resolutions honoring them for their life-saving efforts in January. Mark Grandazzo, of 405 Oneida St., Fulton, was arrested on March 11 at approximately 1:15 p.m., following an on-going drug investigation by the City of Fulton Police Department. Chrystal Recore, also residing at 405 Oneida St., was arrested during the execution of the search warrant. Police say she did knowingly conduct and maintain her residence where persons came and gathered for the purpose of engaging in the unlawful sale of controlled substances.
An alleged online predator, with the screen name “Blade Rapture,” was attempting to persuade young boys into meeting him for the purpose of engaging in sexual activity, according to the police. One boy told his mother who contacted police.
