OSWEGO COUNTY – Early yesterday morning, July 26th, 2026, at around 2:07AM, members of the Oswego County Sheriff’s Office responded to a motor vehicle accident on Howard Road, between County Route 57 and County Route 176, in the Town of Volney.
Preliminary investigation revealed that a 2006 Saab 93 was traveling westbound on Howard Road when the operator, Dominick Busch, 19, of Fulton, NY, lost control of the vehicle and struck a tree off the south side of the road. There was one passenger in the vehicle, identified as Braeyn Murray, 17, of Fulton, NY. Both Dominick and Braeyn were pronounced dead on scene.
The Oswego County Sheriff’s Office was assisted on scene by the Volney Volunteer Fire Department, Menter Ambulance, and the New York State Police.
