Oswego County Sheriff’s Department Recognized

Oswego County Sheriff’s Department is one of the 18 out of the state’s 62 counties that qualified for civil accreditation, according to Peter Kehoe, counsel and executive director of the NYS Sheriffs’ Association. To achieve accreditation, requires that the Civil Office meets a very strict set of standards set by experts in the field of civil process, he said.

Hannibal Administrators Will Outline Dire Cutback Possibilities Wednesday; Music Supporters Begin to Worry

The music department head says she was told high school music will be recommended for shutdown.  The high school principal says that’s not true — he’s just giving the Board of Education the information they asked for.

Either way, Hannibal’s fight over which programs survive a fresh round of budget cuts is beginning to gear up.
