Organizers and visitors say 2008 was one of the better Harborfests. About 17,000 packed into the Joan Jett concert. Saturday night’s fireworks display drew its usual huge crowd – on both sides of the river.
More than 1,500 youngsters and their families take part in the annual Children’s Parade. The fun continues today at Harborfest – highlighted by the fireworks spectacular.

Oswego’s huge summer festival gets under way tonight in Breitbeck Park. Performances will be held at the NRG Family Stage in Washington Square Park, the Budweiser Rock Stage at the Port Authority, the Veteran’s Stage on West River Walk, and the Labatt Lakeview Stage in Breitbeck Park. Many other events will take place all around the Port City.
