Chamber To Host Holiday Tree Lighting
With the holiday season fast approaching plans are under way for the annual Holiday Tree Lighting. Coordinated by the Greater Oswego-Fulton Chamber of Commerce, the Oswego Children’s Holiday Tree Lighting will be held Nov. 29.

City Plans Tree Lighting
Barry Ostrander, superintendent of the Fulton Department of Parks and Recreation, has announced that the city’s annual Christmas Tree Lighting Jubilee is planned for Dec. 6.
The event will include free donuts, hot chocolate, candy, face painting, a DJ and a variety of musical performances.

Officials Confirm: Lee Memorial Receives Proposal From OH
Hospital spokespersons on both sides of the issue have confirmed that Oswego Health has submitted a proposal to A.L. Lee Memorial Hospital in an effort to mitigate the Department of Health’s decision to close inpatient and emergency services in Fulton.

Students at Kenney Middle School got a glimpse of career options that use cutting edge technology Wednesday during Geographic Information Systems (GIS) Day. GIS Day is held each year on the Wednesday during the National Geographic Society’s Geography Awareness Week. It was the first time that Kenney students have participated in the event.

If residents in the Fulton city school district have opinions about the proposed $23.7 million capital improvement project, they aren’t sharing.
