This year’s St. Baldrick’s Day in Oswego County fundraiser is scheduled for March 29 at the Lake Ontario Event & Conference Center in Oswego, running from 1-4 p.m.

The National Weather Service has issued a Lakeshore Flood Warning and a Lake Effect Snow Warning for Oswego County beginning Thursday, Feb. 27.

On 02/24/2019 at approximately 10:48 a.m., investigators with the Oswego City Police Department’s Criminal investigation division with assistance from the New York State Police, arrested Dwayne F. Arruza, 42, of 97 Center St. apt. 1, Waterloo NY, related to an on-going investigation.

Over the last two weeks, the Oswego Police Department has been investigating complaints of counterfeit money that have been circulated to arious local businesses.

Mayor Billy Barlow has appointed Nathan Emmons as the new Director of Economic Development for the city of Oswego, tasked with securing grant funding and administering the over $40 million of grant funding secured since Mayor Barlow took office in 2016.

The Common Council breezed through its agenda Monday night and approved use of city properties for Oswego Harbor Festivals. This year the winning poster promoting the fest has an international flavor.
