Governor Andrew Cuomo visited Oswego on Thursday afternoon, August 1, to go fishing on Lake Ontario. After reeling in a couple of huge salmon, the Governor held a press conference at the Port of Oswego Authority to extol Lake Ontario and the surrounding area.

Mayor Billy Barlow announced today, July 31, the creation of a network of security cameras throughout Downtown Oswego to prevent vandalism and offer more protection to public space and property owners.

A big part of the Port City’s renaissance is child’s play. On Tuesday afternoon (July 30), Mayor Billy Barlow and Lieutenant Governor Kathy Hochul celebrated the re-opening of the Children’s Museum of Oswego.
