Mayor Barlow Inks Deal With Police Union To Benefit US Veterans

Mayor Billy Barlow met recently with the Oswego Police Union (Lake City Police Club) representatives to sign a memorandum of agreement. It would provide a mechanism to reconcile the City – Union contract language with New York State Law which allows qualified US Veterans the ability to “buy-back” their military time to use toward their New York State Retirement benefit.

Mayor Barlow Heralds Re-Opening of Historic Cahill Building

The Port City celebrated the latest incarnation of the historic Cahill Building on Thursday afternoon. Built in 1828, it is now a luxurious residential apartment building in downtown Oswego after being completely rehabilitated by local developer Anthony Pauldine. A ribbon cutting was held to officially celebrate the rebirth of the Port City landmark.
