Mexico Man Charged in Candy Tampering Incident

A Mexico man has been charged in connection with the candy tampering incident on Halloween. At 4:30 p.m. on Nov. 3, sheriff’s deputies charged Jeffrey C. Beardslee, 58, of 26 S. Jefferson St., Mexico, with Endangering the Welfare of a Child, a class A misdemeanor.
