Pulaski Couple Arrested For Cruelty To Animals

On July 31, at approximately 11 am., State Police responded to 12 Dunlap Road in the town of Richland for a complaint of two dogs that were left unattended and a foul odor emanating from the residence. When Troopers arrived, they discovered two small dogs left unattended inside the residence along with dog feces and urine all over the floor.

Oswego Residents Weigh In On Winter Parking Proposal

Assistant City Attorney Thomas Reynolds presented a tentative local law regarding winter parking at the request of First Ward Councilor Caitlin Reynolds. Reynolds’ proposed parking ban would be effective automatically every year from Nov. 15 of each year through March 31 of the following year. It would be an odd – even ban lasting a full 24 hours on the side on which the parking is banned. The law would allow parking on odd days on the odd side of the street from 6 p.m. to 6 p.m. on the following even day. And, it would allow parking on even days on the even side of the street from 6 p.m. to 6 p.m. on the following odd day.

Fulton Man Charged With Grand Larceny of Motor Vehicle and DWI-Drugs

On July 28, an officer of the Fulton Police observed a stolen blue 2005 Dodge Durango in the 400 block of Hannibal Street, which was reported stolen. The officer attempted to conduct a vehicle and traffic stop, however the operator of the stolen vehicle refused to stop for the officer, according to the police report.

Oswego County Health Department Reports Two More Cases of Rabies

The Oswego County Health Department today (Aug. 1) reported two new cases of rabies in Oswego County. A raccoon in the city of Oswego and a skunk in the town of Schroeppel have tested positive for rabies. The raccoon was located on East Fourth Street in Oswego, in the neighborhood of Fort Ontario State Historic Site. The skunk was found near county Route 54 in Schroeppel.
