As the debate around the Common Core Standards continues, I spend much of my time talking about the standards and asking questions to try to gain a better understanding of what people oppose within the standards. While there have been tweaks in some states, the Common Core Standards are currently intact and being implemented in more than 40 states.
Entergy Corporation’s decision to discontinue electricity production at the FitzPatrick facility requires the company to transition it to a nuclear waste facility, hopefully different than the West Valley contaminated site.

As a resident of the town of Hannibal for six years, I have learned a great deal about what I want for the town. A town council with the taxpayer as first priority is my number one priority. As a council member, when voting on town issues, I will first consider the impact it will have on the taxpayer.
Knowing the facts before you vote. I’d like to state a few facts regarding the race for County Legislator of the 25th District so people know for whom they are voting.
Residents of Fulton’s 5th Ward, for the past two years I have had the pleasure and honor to work side by side with Norman “Jay” Foster. I have known Jay for several years but have been working with him on the Common Council since January 1 of last year.
Recently legislators Broadwell and Walpole wrote an attack letter that is more than just misleading. It is false, and it does nothing to advance the interests of the city residents, whom I have faithfully and tirelessly served over the past six years. No one has worked harder than I have to build a better working relationship between the county and city.
