As most of you know by now, Tim Conners has been battling leukemia and all of its side effects since April. The treatments that he has received to date have not been successful so a bone marrow transplant has been scheduled for September in Boston.
Bion’s reaction shows they seem to expect the people of our community to just sit back and welcome them in without any legitimate questioning of the project. We will not be a passive part of allowing Bion to attempt to erode democracy or our environment.
The last Sunday in Harborfest; July 25th, 2010, was in many ways an unfathomable end to a tradition that has been with this city for 23 years. Yet this Sunday was not just the end of a festival, it was the end of a history for St. Louis’ Church.

After months of planning, the Fulton YMCA had the pleasure of hosting our fifth annual gala auction, “Accentuate the Y.†As always, a large crowd came to enjoy the evening and bid on hand painted and decorated tables. The event netted over $10,000.
The United Way of Oswego County extends a sincere thank you to the many volunteers and sponsors whose commitment to the United Way 2010 Golf Classic again made the event an outstanding success.
