EEE Virus Still Active: Oswego County Health Department Urges Residents to Take Precautions Against Mosquitoes

Oswego County Public Health Director Dr. Dennis Norfleet said today that mosquitoes carrying Eastern equine encephalitis are still present in the Toad Harbor area and residents should continue to take measures to protect themselves against mosquito bites.

Springside Residents Stuff-A-Bus

The residents at Springside at Seneca Hill support the United Way’s Stuff-A-Bus program each year and collect school supplies to donate to the program.  Shown above are volunteers Carryn Crapser (left) and Brett Countryman (back) receiving  school supplies from Springside resident representatives, Doris Clemenson (second from left) and Mary Agnes Brown (right).  Springside residents actively participate in community affairs.  Springside at Seneca Hill is a premier retirement community for independent seniors located at the Heckethorn Health Community, and is an affiliate of Oswego Health.  The residents at Springside at Seneca Hill support the United Way’s Stuff-A-Bus program each year and collect school supplies to donate to the program.
