Thursdayâ€™s heavy, continuous rain has caused flooding in many areas around the Port City and trapped more than a dozen anglers in the Oswego River. About 17 fishermen had to be rescued from an island near the Varick Dam on the west side of the river.
Oswego County Hospice will honor the memories of deceased loved ones at its annual Memorial Service on Sunday, October 17. The service will be held at 2:00 p.m. at the Fulton Alliance Church, 1044 State Route 48, Fulton.
On Saturday, October 2nd, employees from Loweâ€™s in Oswego will roll up their sleeves and construct a ramp at the Wilcox home 2333 County Route 176 in Fulton. The ramp build will start at 9:00 a.m. at the home that is located right across from the Oswego County Airport.
