Ollie was found outside, lost and all by himself. A nice lady brought in from the cold and agreed to foster him to make sure he gets a warm, snuggly home. She says he is a sweet gentleman, who, once he warms up to you, is always in the mood for cuddling. He is quiet and calm, about a year and half old, with that gorgeous smoky grey coloring.

Dirt bike got his name because he looked super rough around the edges and was very dirty when he was found. He also looked like he had suffered an eye injury before he was rescued. But, he has healed up fine with lots of good care and medications and there is no sign of any impairment to his sight. He cleaned up nicely too, didn’t he?

I adopted my first dog, Henry, this summer and I love him to pieces. But, I just discovered what probably everyone else in the dog universe already knew – dog pee wrecks lawns! I had no idea, but my lawn has brown spots all over it now and they are really ugly. Someone suggested that there is stuff you can buy that makes your dog’s pee less acid so it won’t burn the grass.
