I suddenly realized that I don’t really have a plan about how to take care of my pets if even a small accident happened here at home, much less a natural disaster.

Dear Porky and Buddy,

I just rescued a tiny kitten who was dropped in my front yard, and it’s Saturday afternoon so my vet is not open. She seems fairly healthy except that her eyes are all runny and swollen looking. Is there any thing I can do to help her until I can call the vet on Monday morning?

I read all the time about supplements that I can give my cat, Cindy Lou, and my dog, Herman, that will make them generally healthier, or have nicer coats, or less joint pain or whatever. How can I find out whether any of them are actually worth buying?

My cat has a swelling on its ear tip.  What is it and what is causing it?

What I don’t know much about is the impact of pets and especially pet products on the environment. Are there things I should be doing about that that will make a difference?
