Saturday night at the Fulton Speedway two holdover and one regularly scheduled 35-lap Tracey Road Equipment DIRTcar Modified features were on the schedule. After 105 exciting feature laps, two of the most popular racers went to victory lane with Tim Sears Jr. from Hastings, NY taking two wins and Ron Davis III from Memphis, NY winning one.

For 17-year-old driving sensation Tyler Thompson, Saturday’s U-Pull U-Save ‘Family Night’ at the Oswego Speedway could not possibly have gone any better.

Bobby Herrington makes the long tow every week from his Elginburg, Ontario, Canada home to compete in the DIRTcar Modifieds every Saturday night at the Fulton Speedway.

Wearing his father Eddie’s race suit which was last in victory lane 31 years ago, Brandon Bellinger passed early leader Tim Snyder on lap 7 and drove the iconic No. 02 to a commanding victory in Oswego’s 45-lap ‘Retro Night’ special Saturday.

If you have never seen a Trailer Race of Destruction, they use the entire speedway for chaos and mayhem to destroy their opponents to be the last one standing with their trailer still attached to their vehicle to collect the $1,000-to-win top prize. Other awards are $100-Best Appearing Entry, $100 Most Original Entry, $100 Master of Destruction.

There is a high level of excitement when you get to see a first-time winner. That excitement level gets turned up even more when a first-time winner holds off an onslaught from winning veteran drivers in the Modifieds.
