Saturday, July 27 from 3 – 5 p.m. at Dunkin’ Donuts on the east side Oswego Pop Warner Football and Cheer will be offering discounted registration for the fall season which starts August 1 and runs through mid-October.

The 42nd annual Hy-Miler Convenience Nationals for the International Supermodified Association will take center stage this Friday and Saturday, July 26 and 27 at Ohio’s Sandusky Speedway.

Stephen Duphily from Plaistow, New Hampshire, invaded Oswego for its first ever ‘Mr. 350’ Supermodified event and walked away with $900 in prize money to go with his second victory in two appearances at the ‘Steel Palace’ this season.

David LaTulip made a daring three wide move to take the lead on lap 1 of last night’s Mr. Pathfinder Bank SBS main event and never looked back, scoring his first career ‘Mr. SBS’ title in a victory he dedicated to late grandfather Cecil Barlow.

With the forecast of high humidity, high temperature, heat index more than 100 and warnings from all-weather bureaus, racing at the Brewerton Speedway Friday, July 19 and the Fulton Speedway Saturday, July 20 has been canceled.

After what fans called the Modified race of the year, and had people still talking leaving the facility last Saturday, the Fulton Speedway will be back in action this Saturday, July 20 for another exciting hot summer night of dirt track racing presented by Oswego County Today.

Lapped traffic, slide jobs, lead changes and the top-five running under a blanket highlighted the 35-lap Tracey Road Equipment DIRTcar Modified feature Saturday night at the Fulton Speedway.
