Tom Sears Jr., from Clay, took advantage of a lap 29 caution in the 35-lap Tracey Road Equipment DIRTcar 358 Modified feature for his first win of the year Saturday night at the Fulton Speedway. For the second week in a row the Modified feature winning pass wasn’t made until 2 laps to go. This week it was Sears’ turn as he got by Jeff McGinnis who was in total command of the race until that lap 29 yellow.

Oswego Speedway’s Twin 35 Format Explained
The month of June is here and with that comes the second ‘twin’ format event of the 2018 season for Oswego Speedway’s Novelis Supermodifieds. After two exciting Jim Shampine Memorial Twin 50s on May 26 won by Dave Shullick Jr. and Chris Perley, the track is set to go with its familiar ‘Twin 35s June 16 presented by Burke’s Do It Best Home Center and Bosco & Geers of Oswego.

Just two races removed from the inaugural running of the Jim Shampine Memorial Twin 50s for the Novelis Supermodifieds back on May 26, the twin format will return to Oswego Speedway this weekend in the form of Twin 35s for the Supers alongside a 30-lap main event for the Pathfinder Bank SBS plus the first driver autograph session of the 2018 season presented by Burke’s Do It Best Home Center and Boscoo & Geers
