After a week off for school graduations, the fans and racers are raring to go back at it on Fulton Speedway ‘Highbanks’ this Saturday, June 30, presented by Collectibles Galore and Oswego County Today.

Following two ‘twin’ format events in three races to begin Oswego Speedway’s ‘Road to the Championship,’ the Novelis Supermodifieds will now compete in their first 75-lap extra distance main of the season alongside a 35-lap special for the Pathfinder Bank SBS as part of this Saturday night’s Independence Weekend ‘Grand Prix’

Former Indy Car star Davey Hamilton will return behind the wheel of a Supermodified as part of Oswego Speedway’s Galloway Century 21 and Oswego D Bus Independence Weekend ‘Grand Prix’ special this Saturday, June 30.

Doug Didero is in Oswego this week preparing the new No. 3, but called just a few moments ago (1 p.m. June 25) and asked us to let fans know that the car is not where he’d like it to be in order to debut it in this weekend’s Grand Prix presented by Galloway Century 21 and Oswego D Bus.

Harry, George and Bill Caruso, founders of Oswego Speedway, will be memorialized as East Albany Street, west of Jim Shampine Drive, is recognized as Caruso Brothers Boulevard at a dedication ceremony on Saturday, June 30, at 4 p.m. The dedication will take place at the corner of East Albany Street and Shampine Drive just across from the speedway.

Team Pine took first honors at the annual Stone Creek Golf Club Father’s Day Open. The team of Eric “Pine” Kalterborn, Will Weimer, Bob Ruggio Sr. and Matt Ruggio shot a -11 (59) to secure the 2018 title.

Mark Castiglia’s Missile Motorsports has started 2018 in the fast lane at Oswego Speedway with drivers Anthony Losurdo and Dan Kapuscinski sitting first and fourth in the current Pathfinder Bank SBS Series Championship driving their FFB Chassis machines.

The rumors are true! Oswego Speedway hall of famer Doug Didero will return to Supermodified competition for the first time since 2009 in next weekend’s Independence ‘Grand Prix’ 75 presented by Galloway Century 21 and Oswego D Bus.
