Following a breakthrough 2017 campaign in the Chris Osetek Racing No. 55 Supermodified, New York native turned North Carolina resident Keith Shampine will look to improve even further at the Oswego Speedway this year after grabbing the first two feature wins of his career, the pole for the Budweiser International Classic 200, and a third place effort in the championship standings just one season ago.

This (May 8) game was dedicated to our beloved trainer Michele Wink and we were honored to be able to have her husband, Tim, at the game. It meant a lot to get the win tonight and to have him and so many family and friends who came out as well.

Six members of the Oswego State men’s lacrosse team have earned All-Conference honors from the State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC), including Kevin O’Donnell, who was named the conference’s Rookie of the Year. Teddy Phillips was named to the first team, Adam Burlew, Bobby Emerson and Tim Schof collected second team honors and Kyle O’Connor received an honorable mention.

Following a lengthy, but also rather busy offseason, Proud Motorsports will open its 2018 Small Block Supermodified campaign in the 30-lap Lighthouse Lanes SBS Series ‘May Meltdown’ at the Evans Mills Speedway Saturday, May 12.

Hitting the ‘Highbanks’ to do battle will be the Tracey Road Equipment DIRTcar 358 Modifieds, SUNY Canton DIRTcar Sportsman, Billy Whittaker Cars & Trux RUSH Late Models and E&V Energy Novice Sportsman on Ehrlich Pest Control night.

The all-time points list for Oswego Speedway’s Pathfinder Bank SBS division has been updated for the first time since 2011, but after six seasons, nothing has changed on the top as it is still the division’s all-time winningest driver Mike Bond leading the way with now 17,888 total points accumulated throughout the course of his illustrious career.

The State University of New York Athletic Conference has named seven members of the Oswego State women’s lacrosse squad to one of its three All-Conference teams. Teresa Shattuck, Brigid Regin, Danielle Walker and Angela Ponto were each named to the first team, Toni Laneve earned second team accolades while Riley Jaquin and Gemma O’Kane made the third team.

After a seven-month-long wait, the Lighthouse Lanes Small Block Supermodified Series kicks off the northeast SBS season with its 2018 lid lifter; the long-anticipated ‘May Meltdown’ 30-lapper May 12 at Evans Mills Speedway.
