There is an old saying of what’s old is new again. That played out Saturday night at the Fulton Speedway as the track returned to its roots with the 358 Modifieds as the headline division. Host Cortland played a good possession game and did not allow us the looks we really wanted. Cortland came out fast against us and played really good possession lacrosse and we struggled to keep the ball in our sticks and finish our passes.

Less than a month away from the track’s 68th season opener, Oswego Speedway officials have released the time schedules for all weekly ‘Road to the Championship’ events in 2018 featuring the Novelis Supermodified and Pathfinder Bank SBS divisions.
Joe Gosek has been a fan favorite at Oswego Speedway since making his first Supermodified start back in the 1980 season. 39 years later and 62 years young, Gosek will be back for the 68th consecutive season of racing at the ‘Big O’ and certainly hungry for more following one of the “best few months of his career” which took place in 2017.
We came out very hard vs. hosting Auburn on Thursday. We played them a few days before and for the first 20 minutes of the game we were not far behind them. We were matching them in shots and defensively keeping pace with them. The second half we did not take care of the ball offensively as much as we needed to.
