The thirteenth consecutive season of the popular Novelis ‘Fan Can Chase’ at Oswego Speedway is now in the books and it was yet another successful endeavor, with more than 116,000 cans being collected through three events, pushing the all-time can count to nearly 1.4 million.

Alexa Aramburu – a senior from the 2016-17 Oswego State women’s ice hockey team – was one of just 105 players to be selected in the Canadian Women’s Hockey League draft on Sunday. Aramburu was picked 30th overall in the fifth of 23 rounds by the Toronto Furies.
After coming oh so very close just two weeks earlier on ‘Retro Night,’ Jeff Abold picked up the third Novelis Supermodified victory of his career while Dave Shullick Jr. was crowned track champion this past weekend at Oswego Speedway.
You couldn’t script an evening much better than the one Dave Cliff had this past Saturday night at Oswego Speedway, taking the win in the 30-lap Pathfinder Bank SBS season finale to officially clinch the 2017 Series Track Championship.
