Veteran Supermodified driver and car builder Howard Page will make his return to racing in 2017, as he looks to take on the Shea Concrete Triple Crown Championship Series of Supermodified racing presented by ASI Racewear.
Tom Juno and his company Power Seal Driveway Sealing located in Baldwinsville, NY has supported the Fulton Speedway over the years and has stepped up his involvement for the 2017 racing season. The season-long program will be known as the Power Seal Driveway Sealing Lucky 13 Award in memory of Jake Juno.
We played a tough JD team Tuesday night – they moved the ball well and they controlled the draw circle, especially in the second half. The first half we kept ourselves in the game and were only down by 3 goals. Offensively we had several good looks on the net and several good drives to the goal. We came up short a few times in the first half.
Heading into the half with a lead allowed us some breathing room and coming out in the second half we knew we just needed to play good possession lacrosse to stay on top. Second half we had to maintain our composer as the snow started to come down and made the field a little bit difficult for us to get ground balls, but we overcame that without any issues.
An anonymous Supermodified fan has stepped up to donate a total of five right rear Hoosier Racing Tires at Oswego Speedway Triple Crown Championship Series events in 2017, starting with the Speedway’s 67th season opener on May 13.
Calendars have been circled for months by both fans and race teams ready to kick off the 2017 Modified Super DIRTcar Series in the Northeast. Saturday, April 29 the Fulton Speedway will host the stars in their 800 horsepower, ground pounding, Big Block Modifieds as they will do battle in the “Highbank Holdup” 100. Also on the race card will be the first track point race for the SUNY Canton DIRTcar Sportsman and Billy Whittaker Cars & Trux RUSH Late Models.
In case you’ve missed prior opportunities, the last evening to sign up for Fulton boys youth lacrosse is scheduled tonight (April 5.) Sign ups will be held at the Fulton Ice Arena located at 605 W. Broadway from 6 – 8 P.M.

Auburn has put together some very good teams the last few years and this year’s team is a tough group to play against as well. The first half we rushed our offensive possessions a little too much and had a lot of unforced errors on our part.
