The No. 7/7 Oswego State women’s ice hockey team easily handled Williams College 7-2 on the road Saturday night. Oswego advances to 8-1-0 on the year while the Ephs drop below .500 at 1-2-0. It was a third period explosion that helped the Lakers down Williams, recording five goals in the 20-minute stanza.
The Blue team topped Faith Heritage and the 7th grade squad overpowered Fulton.
NAPA Auto Parts Super DIRT Week took on a new twist for its 45th edition, sliding inside the steel confines of Oswego Speedway, featuring the Super DIRTcar Series Bud Light 200. This historic first outing at the ‘Steel Palace’ was covered in-depth by Suzuki presents Speed Sport and will air on national television Thanksgiving night on MAVTV, beginning at 7 p.m.
