The Soule Racing team had been a main stay at Oswego Speedway for several seasons with Danny Soule driving to victory lane on more than one occasion in non-wing action. However, the patented baby blue No. 32 had never seen victory lane at Oswego in winged ISMA action.
With the 60th running of the Budweiser International Classic 200 just one month away, we begin our look back on several Classic Moments from Oswego Speedway, and today we relive the 2011 edition of the great race which saw a last lap pass for the win.

To participate in the One-On-One Spectator Races all you need is a registered and insured road vehicle, valid driver’s license and a helmet. After purchasing a general admission ticket go to the track office to register.
The return of Oswego Speedway’s Novelis Supermodified semi-final features will play a role in the 2016 point chase, as the extra added 15-lap qualifiers will award points this year toward the overall driver’s championship. In 2015, the semi-finals were run merely as a line-up dash, with the winners starting on the front row for the main event. This weekend however, the races will award championship points, with the top 12 finishers re-handicapped into the night’s 45-lap main event as was done for so many years at the Steel Palace.
For the first time, Oswego Speedway officials will apply a traction compound to the outside groove of the 5/8 mile Steel Palace oval in anticipation of this weekend’s racing program to be held on Saturday, August 6. The LC7 compound will be applied to the surface on Friday morning in anticipation of Fast Friday testing which will run from 4:30 – 8:30 p.m.
On Saturday, August 13, grab your family, friends and neighbors and hop in your vehicle and head to the Fulton Speedway for Billy Whittaker Cars & Trux $20 Car-Load Night and Fan Fest. Yes, for just $20 per car-load, everyone will be able to enjoy a night of high-speed, door to door racing excitement on the ‘Hignbanks.’
A great weather night and a pit full of cars made for a exciting racing Saturday at the Fulton Speedway. The Oswego Speedway Old-Timers Reunion will celebrate its 11th gathering on August 6, just hours prior to Oswego Speedway’s retro racing program, featuring a 45-lap Novelis Supermodified main event as well as 15-lap Semi-Final qualifiers.
