The 30th edition of Oswego Minor Hockey Association’s Mite Invitational Tournament will support community members in need at the holidays. “The Mite Before Christmas Tournament”, will collect non-perishable goods and gently used winter clothing. The tournament will take place on Saturday, December 12.

At the end of this week, each varsity winter sports team has made their home debut and has at least one victory under their belt. The Oswego State men’s ice hockey team downed Fredonia 3-2 with an overtime Alex Botten goal on Saturday night in the Marano Campus Center Arena. Oswego improves to 6-4-1 on the year but more importantly gets two points in the conference standings with its 5-3-1 SUNYAC mark.
The nationally-ranked Oswego State men’s basketball team dropped its first contest of the year 66-56 at Buffalo State on Saturday evening. With the loss, the Lakers go to 7-1 overall and 1-1 in SUNYAC action while the Bengals improve to 4-2, 1-1.

The Oswego State men’s hockey team defeated Buffalo State 4-2 Friday night at the Marano Campus Center Arena. With the win, Oswego excels to 4-3-1 in the conference and 5-4-1 overall.
