The 16th annual Trinity Catholic School Adult Spelling Bee went the distance — and then some. When they ran out of words, “This has never happened before,” exclaimed Barb Sugar, Trinity Catholic School’s principal. “They all did a great job. So, I say we should crown co-champions this year.”

Guests will hear how the community has benefited from funds raised, honor cancer survivors, and learn how to “paint the world purple” to save lives from cancer.
The Oswego State men’s basketball team opened on a 13-0 run and never trailed on its way to a 80-72 win over Oneonta on Saturday afternoon in Max Ziel Gymnasium. Oswego’s victory improves its overall record to 12-5 but, most importantly, pushes its SUNYAC record to .500 (5-5) after starting 1-4.
