During the night all the fans will have a chance to come down trackside to get up close to the cars and meet their racing heroes. Drivers will have handouts and be available for pictures, autographs, and to answer questions from fans of all ages.
One of the most highly anticipated events in recent memory at Oswego Speedway will take place on Saturday night with the running of the Port City 160 ‘Super Spectacle’ presented by Corr/Pak Merchandising and Shea Concrete Products, featuring the Novelis Supermodified Jim Shampine Memorial, the ISMA Supermodified Jack Murphy Memorial, and the Pathfinder Bank SBS Tony White Memorial.
Oswego Speedway’s Port City 160 ‘Super Spectacle’ on May 23 will be a historic evening, on more than one account. Not only will the Memorial Day Weekend thriller feature the ISMA Supermodifieds and Oswego’s Novelis Supermodifieds on the same track, same night for the first time in over ten years, it will also feature four fully restored Jim Shampine racecars – all together for the first time in one location.

This season, the recycling partnership between Oswego Speedway, Novelis, and Scriba Lane Redemption will surpass the one million mark in recyclable cans thanks to the generous race fans that have donated an average of over 100,000 cans for each of the past ten seasons in exchange for race tickets and other Oswego Speedway prizes.

Trevor Bellinger, a recent graduate of St. John Fisher College in Rochester and the youngest son of five-time Budweiser International Classic champion Eddie Bellinger Jr., dominated the Clone Medium main on Friday at the Kartway picking up his first career main event win.
Starting from the eighth position, Sitterly snared the lead from his teammate for the night, Joe Gosek, on a lap 28 restart and never looked back on route to his 31st overall victory at the ‘Steel Palace’, breaking a tie with Mike Ordway to stand alone in ninth on the Speedway’s all-time win list.
Oswego Speedway was built on the foundation of creativity and ingenuity, and Saturday night Dalton Doyle continued that model by driving a machine he built with his own two hands to victory lane at the ‘Steel Palace’ as a part of the Speedway’s 65th annual opening night presented by Mitchell’s Speedway Press and Planet Fitness.
