Voting is now open for the National Speed Sport News ‘My Favorite Tracks’ poll, conducted annually to determine America’s favorite race tracks, as voted by thousands of race fans and motorsports enthusiasts. Oswego Speedway has placed in the top five of the poll the last two years, finishing third overall in 2014 behind only Rossburg, Ohio’s Eldora Speedway and Knoxville, Iowa’s Knoxville Raceway.

The Oswego State men’s basketball team defeated Oneonta 68-59 Tuesday night at Max Ziel Gymnasium in the first round of the SUNYAC Championship. This is the third time Oswego has taken down the Red Dragons this season. The win also marked Jason Leone’s 150th career win as a collegiate varsity basketball coach.

The initial announcement of Payne’s release was made on his personal Facebook account last Thursday, with the release confirmed Tuesday morning through a statement from Graham Racing team owner, Ray Graham.

The nationally-ranked Oswego State men’s ice hockey team (17-3-4, 12-2-2) took a tough 4-2 loss to Potsdam (12-10-3, 8-6-2) in the regular-season finale at the Marano Campus Center Arena on Saturday night. With the defeat, Oswego earns the No. 2 seed in next week’s SUNYAC Championship and will host the highest remaining seed after Wednesday’s quarterfinals round at 7 p.m. on Saturday.

The Oswego State women’s basketball team fell 67-50 the Cortland Red Dragons Friday night in the Max Ziel Gymnasium. The Lakers finished their season with an 8-17 record, two wins better than the previous season. Cortland finishes the regular season with a record of 20-5 and 14-4 in the SUNYAC.

The Oswego State men’s basketball team played conference foe Cortland tough in a 56-47 loss on Friday afternoon’s Senior Night at Max Ziel Gymnasium. With the loss, Oswego moves to 16-9 overall and a 12-6 SUNYAC record while Cortland goes to 17-8 overall and 10-8 in the conference.
