The Oswego State men’s basketball team finished its play in the Land of Magic Classic with a 63-47 loss to Loras College on Monday night. With the loss, the Lakers drop to 6-3 on the season while the Duhawks go to 5-6.
New in 2015, Oswego Kartway will be adding a total of 10 Tuesday night ‘Test and Tune’ sessions to its schedule of events. The Tuesday night ‘Test and Tune’ sessions will be open to all weekly Oswego Kartway divisions, and will run from 6-8 p.m. beginning on May 5.
In what will be a dramatic lid lifter to Oswego’s 65th season, the Race of Champions Asphalt Modifieds will make its first trip to the Steel Palace in 2015 on May 9 joining Oswego’s Novelis Supermodifieds and Pathfinder Bank SBS for a three division show to open Oswego’s season featuring the Richie Evans Memorial 75 for the ground pounders.

Megan Holzwarth a Graphic Design major from Central Square was a member of the 2014 SUNY Oneonta women’s cross-country team. The team competed in eight meets this fall and finished in second place at the SUNYAC Championships and had its best finish of third place at the NCAA Atlantic Region Championships.
When Oswego Speedway celebrates its 65th anniversary on August 8 of the coming racing season, not only will fans be invited into the grandstands for only $5, they will also be treated to two former Oswego Supermodified traditions – semi-final qualifying, and the 45-lap feature event.
