The Oswego State women’s basketball team snapped a four-game skid with a 56-53 win at Brockport on Tuesday night in Vlogianitis Gymnasium. Oswego’s victory pushes its record to 4-8 overall and 2-3 in conference play while the Golden Eagles drop to 2-9, 0-4.
The Oswego State men’s basketball team defeated Brockport 91-85 in overtime on the road Tuesday evening. With the win, the Lakers remain unbeaten in the conference (5-0) and go to 9-3 on the year.

A three-time champion of the Budweiser International Classic at Oswego and a two-time Speedway track champion, Gosek has driven the same Xtreme chassis Supermodified at the Steel Palace since 2007, driving the machine to a Speedway title in 2011 and nine feature wins.
The Oswego State men’s ice hockey team fell 4-3 to visiting Southern New Hampshire University despite out-shooting the Penmen 42-22 at the Marano Campus Center Arena on Sunday. It is just the Lakers’ second loss of the season, going to 10-2-2 while the Penmen improve to 6-7-1.

The Oswego State Woman’s Hockey team continued its win streak posting a 2-0 shutout on the road against Plymouth State University on Friday afternoon. This is the sixth win in a row, third straight on the road for Lakers, improving to 8-2 on the season.
The Oswego Laker Men’s Basketball team defeated Cortland 81-67 using a relentless effort on Friday evening in a crucial conference contest. With this win, the Lakers improve to 8-3, and 4-0 in SUNYAC, Cortland drops to 8-2 and 2-2.
Oswego Speedway’s 2015 race dates were announced last fall, with start times for those events now being revealed beginning with the 65th season opener on May 9.
