The Oswego State women’s basketball team held off Cazenovia College on the road for a 66-65 nonconference win behind a pair of double-doubles on Friday night. With the win, the Lakers go to 3-4 on the season while the Wildcats drop to 1-6.

Chris Raguseo and Matt Zawadzki of the men’s ice hockey team have both been recognized by the State University of New York Athletic Conference for the week ending on December 7, 2014. Raguseo has been named Men’s Ice Hockey Player of the Week, while Zawadzki earned Goalie of the Week honors.
The Oswego State men’s ice hockey team, ranked No. 6 by D3hockey.com and eighth by USCHO, cruised past Potsdam 7-1 on Saturday night at Maxcy Ice Arena on the Bears’ campus. Oswego’s victory completed a two-win SUNYAC weekend after the Lakers downed No. 4/4 Plattsburgh on Friday, bringing their overall record to 7-1-2 with a 5-1-1 mark in league play.
The Oswego State men’s basketball team downed Buffalo State 98-71 on Saturday afternoon at Max Ziel Gymnasium. With the commanding win, the Lakers cruise to a 4-2 overall record and complete a perfect opening SUNYAC weekend, improving to 2-0 in conference action.
