The Oswego State women’s basketball team snapped a four-game skid with a 56-53 win at Brockport on Tuesday night in Vlogianitis Gymnasium. Oswego’s victory pushes its record to 4-8 overall and 2-3 in conference play while the Golden Eagles drop to 2-9, 0-4.

In a recent column published by Area Auto Racing News, written by correspondent Jay Andrews, Oswego Speedway Hall of Fame driver Joe Gosek indicated that his options are open for a run at Oswego’s Novelis Supermodified championship in 2015. A three-time champion of the Budweiser International Classic at Oswego and a two-time Speedway track champion, Gosek has driven the same Xtreme chassis Supermodified at the Steel Palace since 2007, driving the machine to a Speedway title in 2011 and nine feature wins.
The Oswego State men’s ice hockey team fell 4-3 to visiting Southern New Hampshire University despite out-shooting the Penmen 42-22 at the Marano Campus Center Arena on Sunday. It is just the Lakers’ second loss of the season, going to 10-2-2 while the Penmen improve to 6-7-1.
The Oswego State men’s ice hockey team held off Hobart College late to secure a 5-4 win at home on Friday night in the Marano Campus Center Arena. With the win, nationally-ranked Oswego gets its 10th victory of the season, going to 10-1-2.
The Oswego State Woman’s Hockey team continued its win streak posting a 2-0 shutout on the road against Plymouth State University on Friday afternoon. This is the sixth win in a row, third straight on the road for Lakers, improving to 8-2 on the season.
