The Oswego State men’s soccer team lost a 2-0 match to nationally-ranked Oneonta on Friday afternoon. With its first loss in SUNYAC play, Oswego falls to 1-6-1 overall while Oneonta remains unbeaten at 7-0-1.
Oswego State student-athletes and the college’s athletics department are looking forward to all of the opportunities and benefits that a new turf field and stadium will bring starting next summer. Construction recently began for an NCAA-compliant, 225- by 360-foot all-weather synthetic turf field along with a press box, bleachers and full stadium lighting to be completed by the summer of 2015, according to Susan Viscomi, the college’s director of athletics.

Lighthouse Lanes invites any and all participants to come and join this racing centered league, focused on gathering Speedway friends and supporters once a month to help pass the Speedway’s off-season. Each team must consist of four bowlers, in any combination.

As Saturday’s second annual RJ Kart Sales Fall Frenzy 200 inches closer at Oswego Kartway, DJ Shuman and Shannon Pitcher will join Chris Natoli and Ricky Pritchard as front row starters for their respective 100-lap mains this weekend which will pay a minimum of $500 to each winner.
