Coming into Saturday night Larry Wight held a 20 point lead over Jimmy Phelps in the Fulton Speedway standings. At the end of the 35-Lap Tracey Road Equipment DIRTcar Modified feature Wight increased his lead with a dominating performance on Sunoco Fulton Ethanol Facility night.

The penalty comes as a result of intentional contact with fellow championship contender Dave Gruel during the lap 16 caution period for a stopped Brandon Bellinger in the July 5 Supermodified Grand Prix. After a week off, Oswego Speedway’s flagship Novelis Supermodified division will be back in action Saturday night at the ‘Steel Palace’ as a part of the Speedway’s Summer Championship special presented by C’s Beverage Center and Crop Production Services. Joining the Novelis Supermodified 50-lap Summer Championship will be a 30-lap title main for the Pathfinder Bank Small Block Supers.
