The Fulton Force elite traveling baseball team started its week on July 12 with the opening ceremony and the individual skill competitions and ended the week on July 17 with heartbreak loss in the championship game. The Force caught everyone’s eye when it captured 3 out of the 5 individual skill competitions and took second and third in another.
The Triple Crown of Supermodified racing officially opens Saturday at Ohio’s Sandusky Speedway with the running of the annual ISMA Supermodified Hy-Miler Nationals. Consisting of Sandusky’s Hy-Miler, Oswego Speedway’s Budweiser International Classic 200, and New Hampshire’s Star Speedway Classic, the Triple Crown is rich in history and tradition, dating back to 1966 when all three races were first run in the same season.

As the 28th edition of this prestigious event nears, the 2014 Novelis Supermodified field is no doubt wide open, with several drivers believing they could lay claim to the 10K.

Burke’s Do-It-Best Homecenters presented the racing action at Oswego Kartway on Friday night with Chris Parker driving to his first career Kartway victory in the Clone 425 division. A longtime veteran of Oswego Kartway, Parker drove his No. 88 machine to a convincing win over previous main event winners Ross Spilman and Paul Fountaine.
As the anticipation begins to build for the 58th annual Budweiser International Classic 200 for Novelis Supermodifieds at Oswego Speedway, it was announced this week that heat races will once again be an option during the Sunday qualifying format for the richest and most prestigious Supermodified race in the world.
The Fulton Speedway knows that there is a building phase going on with the A-Verdi Storage Containers 305 Sprints in their first season. The Speedway is also excited by the growth potential in one of the fastest growing classes in the country.
