The annual event, sponsored by the Hannibal Sports Booster Club, honored roughly 300 student-athletes who participated in junior varsity and varsity level competition throughout the school year.
Oswego Speedway will play host to the ARISE & Ride for Ramps Kids’ Charity Bike Ride on May 31 beginning at 10:30 a.m. Youngsters will have the opportunity to ride their bikes around the famed 5/8 mile Speedway oval in support of those families with need of ramp access across Oswego County.
Eric Summers has been hired as Oswego State’s Associate Athletic Director and will assume his position in early June. Summers comes to Oswego by way of Hamilton College where he coached the Continentals crew program for more than a decade.
The 23rd running of the Novelis Supermodified Jim Shampine Memorial will have some added intrigue this coming Saturday as MAVTV and Speed Sport cameras will be rolling throughout the evening for air nationally on July 3 at 8 p.m.
Along with an exciting night of racing this Saturday at the Fulton Speedway it will also be the popular Family Autograph Night. This is a chance to come trackside to see all the racing equipment up close, meet your favorite drivers for autographs, pictures and driver giveaways.
The highlight of Oswego Speedway’s Memorial Day Weekend Triple Header on May 24 will be the 23rd running of the prestigious Novelis Supermodified Jim Shampine Memorial. Regarded by many as the greatest innovator and driver in Oswego Speedway’s Supermodified history, Jim Shampine set the standard of excellence in Supermodified design and driving at the ‘Steel Palace.’
Live high definition streaming video will be available from Oswego Speedway this Saturday, featuring the Memorial Day Weekend Triple Header at the ‘Steel Palace.’
The Race of Champions Asphalt Modified Tour will make their first of three trips to Oswego Speedway on Saturday for the running of the 75-lap Richie Evans Memorial special presented by RJ Caruso Tax & Accounting and A&P Auto Parts.
