Budweiser International Classic Weekend is now set at Oswego Speedway.  The 602 Crate Dirt Sportsman division will fill the recently vacant slot on the Friday, August 31st rundown for International Classic Weekend with the $1,500 to win Sportsman “Sizzler” 30.

With the countdown to Budweiser International Classic Weekend continuing, today we look back on the 1985 edition of the greatest Supermodified race in the world.  In 1983, chants of “Eddie B in ‘83” echoed through the ‘Steel Palace’, and just two years later Bellinger was right back at it.

Reduced admission is available for this weekend’s racing, which features the Novelis Supermodifieds, Pathfinder Bank SBS, and the Tobias Speed STRs Series.

In just 28 days another driver will add his name into the history books as Classic Champion, just as Bentley Warren did 28 years ago behind the wheel of Ed Bowley’s Flyin’ 5.

In the 25 year history of the $10,000 to win Mr. Novelis Supermodified event at Oswego Speedway, three previous drivers had won their very first Oswego Supermodified main event in the high stakes spectacular.

Saturday night at the Fulton Speedway, Billy Decker was as hot as the temperatures outside in the Tracey Road Equipment Big Block Modifieds, as he put on a driving clinic in the 35 lap feature.
