Mexico’s Williamson Named Brockport Athlete of the Week
Senior pitcher James Williamson (Mexico) of the Brockport Baseball team has been named The College at Brockport Male Athlete of the Week for the week ending March 18.
Williamson had a solid outing on the mound against Dickinson College in Winter Haven, Fla., on March 12.
Oswego Clearview Squirts Reach Championship Game in JAM Tournament at SUNY Morrisville
The Oswego Clearview Squirt hockey team traveled to SUNY Morrisville recently to compete in the season-ending John Abbott Memorial (JAM) Tournament.
Lakers Come Up Short Against Green Knights
On Saturday night before 3,300 fans the Lakers lost to St. Norbert’s 4-1 and collected its third runner up finish. Coach Ed Gosek was proud of the season effort. To sum up the championship game, he said, “I am disappointed, but not disappointed in the way we played. We got beat by a better team tonight.”
St. Norbert Upends Lakers To Claim Championship
The third-ranked Oswego State men’s ice hockey team (24-4-2) fell short of capturing its second NCAA Division III Men’s Ice Hockey Championship when it fell to defending national champion and fifth-ranked St. Norbert (21-5-5) by the score of 4-1 on Saturday night at Herb Brooks Arena.

The Oswego State baseball team (3-8) struggled with runners in scoring position on Saturday, falling to Clarkson 6-1 and 9-1 to close out their Spring Break trip in Florida.
