Moodie battled along the boards for the puck and got it out of a crowd to Rodrigues who was breaking in on All-American, Division III Players of the year Jonathan LaRose.
Paul Rodrigues (Jr., Etobicoke, Ont.) scored 7:20 into overtime to move the third-ranked Oswego State men’s ice hockey team (24-3-2) into the championship game with a 2-1 win over second-ranked Amherst College (24-4-1) on Friday night at Herb Brooks Arena.
Oswego State junior forward Jon Whitelaw (Huntsville, Ont.) was recognized by the American Hockey Coaches Association (AHCA) as a 2012 Division III CCM Men’s Hockey All-America East Second Team honoree at a banquet held Thursday.

The Oswego State men’s ice hockey team left for Lake Placid today as it continues to prepare for Friday’s NCAA Division III Men’s Hockey Championship semifinal against Amherst College. Friday’s game will be at 7:30 p.m. at Herb Brooks Arena.
