He was one of eight players in NCAA Division III men’s basketball named to the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) All-America First Team.

The win moved to the Lakers to 3-0 on the season, while the Pride dropped to 3-4.

The Oswego State men’s ice hockey team left for Lake Placid today as it continues to prepare for Friday’s NCAA Division III Men’s Hockey Championship semifinal against Amherst College. Friday’s game will be at 7:30 p.m. at Herb Brooks Arena.

The Oswego State softball team sandwiched wins over Grace College and Rutgers-Newark between a loss to Mott Community College on Tuesday. The Lakers defeated Grace, 7-4, before falling to MCC, 9-1, in six innings. Oswego State (4-5) closed out the day with a 4-3 win over Rutgers-Newark.

Oz built an early lead that stretched as far as 116-16 and survived a late surge by the resilient Skateful Dead to push their record to 2-0 for the 2012 season.

The National Association of Basketball Coaches announced that Oswego State senior men’s basketball player Chad Burridge was selected as the 2011-12 NABC Division III East District Player of the Year, while junior Hayden Ward was named to the NABC All-East Second Team. Head coach Jason Leone was also tabbed the 2012 NABC Division III East District Coach of the Year.

The National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) announced Tuesday the rosters for the 2012 Reese’s  Division III College All-Star game. The coaches named Oswego State men’s basketball forward Chad Burridge to the East All-Star Team.
