Batter up! The 2011 baseball season for Oswego Little League is kicking off with the Annual Spaghetti Dinner and Player Registration to be held at the Oswego Elks Lodge on Feb. 15 from 5 to 9 p.m.

The Oswego boys’ swimming and diving team splashed to a 54-40 over Baldwinsville. The Bucs set three new pool records on their way to victory. They missed a fourth record by 0.4-second.

For the eighth time in nine weeks, William Smith College junior forward Kristen Kush (G. Ray Bodley/Fulton, N.Y.) was named to the Liberty League Women’s Basketball Team of the Week. She led William Smith to road victories over Vassar and Rensselaer, averaging 25.5 points and 7.0 rebounds.
