OHS Track, Hockey Teams Doing Well
The Oswego indoor track teams did quite well in the most recent event while the boys’ hockey team won its sixth straight, the girls’ hockey team split while the wrestlers performed well at the Hilton Tournament.

Oswego State junior men’s basketball forward Chad Burridge (Hannibal, N.Y.) has been named the SUNY Athletic Conference Men’s Basketball Player of the Week for the week ending January 16, 2011. Burridge averaged 20.3 points in a week that saw Oswego State post a record of 2-1 and move into sole possession of first place in the SUNYAC standings.

Recent sports action saw the Oswego hockey team score nail-biting victories while the cagers drew a tough foe in Cicero-North Syracuse.

It was a busy weekend for Oswego athletic squads as basketball, hockey, wrestling and indoor track were all in action.
Swimmers and hockey teams were successful this week in picking up victories while the wrestling team had a tough match against its opponent.
