The Oswego State men’s basketball team had four players reach double figures as they staved off a strong second-half York College comeback bid to survive 64-61 Friday night in the opening round of the Max Ziel Basketball Classic.

On Saturday, at Union College, the Oswego High School girls’ varsity volleyball team headed into State Class A quarterfinal action against Burnt Hills. However, it was a short trip into post season play as the Bucs lost 3-0. Oswego finished the year with an 11-6 record.

The Oswego State Men’s Club Hockey team split a pair of NECHL games this past weekend. The Lakers traveled to league leading Syracuse on Saturday and were defeated by the tough Orangemen 6-1.
