WBUC Buc Buzz

This week’s episode features Jenna Bradshaw and Kyra O’Gorman. Kyle Crossman highlights the school store, how it is run now, and how they are hoping to run it in the future. Kyra discusses the NED Show which recently made it’s way to Leighton Elementary School, free of charge, to try to inspire and teach the students there. Jenna talks about the boys’ baseball team and their efforts to fundraiser for ALS through a tournament organized by the Strike Out Lou Gehrig’s Disease Baseball Classic Committee. Aaron and Kristin then highlight the drama club’s spring play, which is a twist on Shakespeare’s Macbeth.

Chamber Spotlight: A Touch of Grace Inspirational & Everyday Gifts

A lifetime Oswego resident, Tricia Buck was given the opportunity to take over ownership for a downtown store she worked at part-time. Leaving her 19 year career, Buck purchased what is now A Touch of Grace Inspirational and Everyday Gifts in August 2015 and never looked back. “I just love being able to promote positivity,” Buck said of owning her local business. “This is a store that is able to bring in anyone who has never experienced anything Christian without being pushy. Whether you’re looking for something to fulfill a religious need or not, I love being able to supply people with the things they need and want.”

Anchors Jenna Bradshaw and Jake Hibbert return today for another installment of the Buc Buzz. They kick the show off with a segment from Alex, Martin, and Trevor that highlights the annual opening Rudy’s. Next, Jenna talks about the Glow Ball that is coming up right here at OHS! Next we send it over to Alex Haessig to discuss Syracuse’s success and their outlook for the final four. After Alex sends it back to Jenna and Jake, they discuss Bishop’s Commons, an assisted living facility in Oswego. Tune in next week for another episode of the Buc Buzz.
