Mayoral candidate Amy Tresidder presented her goals and vision for the city of Oswego on Wednesday at the second of three meet the candidate events sponsored by the Greater Oswego-Fulton Chamber of Commerce. Customer service is one of the best things you can provide, according to Tresidder.
The Greater Oswego-Fulton Chamber of Commerce in collaboration with the Downtown Energetic Retailers, Shop Oswego-Live Oswego and the Oswego Network of Entrepreneurs are hosting a meet the candidates forum to provide small businesses an opportunity to have an audience with each candidate to share their thoughts and for candidates to outline their platforms.
Somehow, chocolate has the captivating ability to make everyone happy. That’s why Amy Lear, owner of Man in the Moon Candies in Oswego, loves her business. “Making people happy,” she feels is the best part of her job. “It’s a fun business and it’s a happy business. Chocolate makes people happy. That beats a real job any day of the week.”
The Oswego Fire Department will be testing hydrants in the Brittney Hills subdivision on Saturday September 5. They are also continuing scheduled testing in the First Ward.
