More than an inch of rain on Tuesday pushed Fulton back to the top of the heap so far this year. And, more is on the way.
After a dry start to the month, some pesky showers seem to have taken up residence over our area for a while.
May is starting off a tad on the wet side.
Fulton received a little more rain Thursday. But for a “passing shower’ today, the weekend looks to be pretty rain-free.
It is now the wettest April (to date) on record in Fulton since the city’s weather observer has been keeping records. And, it looks like more will be added before this month is over.
Fulton received nearly 2 inches of rain yesterday. That bumps the annual total to 13.19 inches. But – it has been higher.
At least it isn’t snow. The area received more rain yesterday with more likely today … and maybe tomorrow, too
Some more showers on Sunday boosted the area rainfall to 6.32 inches for the month.
Fulton’s rainfall total continued to climb Wednesday. It looks to go even higher over the weekend.
The area received another 0.08-inch of rain on April 19. And it looks more of the same for a while.
